Corrosion resistant 5/16 UNF Nyloc nut with a nylon insert that provides a locking action preventing the nut from loosening due to vibration. The nylon insert also creates a seal against the ingress of liquids making this hex nut a versatile choice.
Manufactured with a (UNF) unified fine pitch thread and in A2 stainless steel which offers a high corrosion resistance.
A versatile corrosion resistant UNF hex nut with an added nylon insert for a stronger hold and resistance against vibration and movement.
When installed the thread from the fixing cuts into the nylon insert for a tighter hold which sees them used where vibration and movement can be a concern.
